Senior Infrastructure Project Manager with strong pipeline experience is required for a critical role in the Southern Water region. This position is centered on the setup and scoping of AMP 8 works for all piping and infrastructure projects, valuing up to £1m - £10m. This is pivotal to the progression of the portfolio of projects moving forward. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in infrastructure and piping experience for the water sector. This role offers an opportunity to join an innovative and growing specialist contractor, recognised for introducing significant advancements in the water industry.

The work will also lead into running these contracts and frameworks moving into AMP 8 water framework. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage water industry projects from concept to completion.

  • Liaise with clients and ensure effective communication and coordination.

  • Support the Operational Manager, particularly during high workloads or resource shortages.

  • Provide regular updates on project progress (time, cost, and quality) to the Operational Manager and stakeholders.

  • Lead initial project scoping, ensuring alignment with resources and client needs. Collaborate with design teams to create plans that adhere to industry standards.

  • Conduct a comprehensive evaluation of the project's pricing and scheduling. Analyse financial feasibility and establish a realistic timeline, aligning with client expectations and available resources.

  • Present detailed project proposals to clients, including design, cost, and schedule. Facilitate discussions for modifications and gain client approval, ensuring clear understanding of project scope and deliverables.

  • Develop solutions adhering to corporate governance processes and technical standards.

  • Ensure compliance with financial authorisations and periodic reviews.

  • Collaborate effectively with subcontractors and civil, MEICA trades on site for the water frameworks.

  • Attend and contribute to progress meetings.

  • Uphold operational site Health & Safety requirements, promoting safe working practices.

  • Drive project success while ensuring installation and design meet the highest standards.
